  Damn this sounds nice! Hope it'll be highway mostly cause those are the only roads that received attention these past years. Traveling from here to durban on the back roads is swamped with potholes.

Will we overnight in camp sites or hotels? I vote camp sites or resort type thing!

I'm also planning a holiday in europe this year so budget gonna be tight!!

Updated :-) Thanks for help Bryan, between the commity we will finalise the route within the next 2 weeks. After that we can start sending out personal PM's to individuals we know on other forums that are:

A.) Kosher
B.) Have a modified japanese vehicle or rare jdm spec item
C.) Has a passion for all things JDM!

We want an even spread of all Japanese brands.

For those traveling on RebootJapan, the requirement is a minimum of one video camera per vehicle with instructions on our requirements being provided closer to the time.

The gist of this post though is to let you all know that if you do not have video camera's yet that we have secured a bulk deal on the Go Pro HD series of camera's. Depending on how many we order at a time, will depend the discount offered.

I'm in for one (or maybe two), they retail for around R3,500.00 but as a bulk buy, we should get it cheaper. Anyone in the market?

We've finalized accommodation stop points!

Reboot Japan 2010 covers over 1500km's of some of the best driving (spirit drivers) roads South Africa has to offer.

Starts: 7th August 2010
Ends: 13th August 2010

This years route takes place over the North West province, Limpopo and Mpumalanga region. We're not going to publicly state our route, in-case the popo read this. We're also not going to specify accommodation information on this thread for the same reason + only those who have paid their entrance fee should be the ones enjoying the experience.

We need to have all registrations finalized before July. We also ask of each attendee that you speak to no more than 3 of your closest JDM loving friends! The rules for vehicles are moderately modified Japanese performance cars, any brand - you can point them to this thread so they can read up on the latest developments.
